Frequently Asked Questions

  • At this time, I do not accept insurance directly. This decision stems from the limitations many insurance companies place on care, such as requiring a formal diagnosis, restricting the number of sessions, and specifying treatment approaches. My practice is rooted in a human-centered approach that prioritizes your unique needs, which can be better supported outside these constraints.

However, I do accept most major HSA/FSA cards, and I partner with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use the link below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services:

Please note I do not correspond directly with insurance companies.

  • Yes! I offer both in-person sessions in Arvada, CO and virtual sessions for added flexibility and convenience. I also provide Walk-and-Talk therapy for those who find movement and nature supportive in the therapeutic process. This option allows us to conduct sessions outdoors while walking at a comfortable pace.

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please do your best to notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee equal to the full session rate. That said, if we're able to reschedule within the same week, I’m happy to waive the late cancellation fee.
